Negotiations on going with Brilliant Maritime Services Ltd where they have taken a commitment to pay off the crew and repatriate them, in exchange they would expect full cooperation from the crew to sail the vessel to Cape Town, South Africa where they intend to re-arrest the vessel and have it sold off. Supplies will be replenished, i.e. food, water, Gasoil, luboil on BMS cost.

ITF (18 December 2006)
Wages now partially paid, however there remains an outstanding issue regarding overtime. Although the vessel was auctioned it failed to reach the reserve price. The crew have now been repatriated.

ITF (21 January 2008)
This vessel was renamed Maria A in December 2006, and then again Alkistis in March 2007.
