Comments and Observations:ITF (2004)
On 26/2/04 ITF inspector received a copy of a fax from the US shipping company dated 25/2/04, addressed to the Harbour Master and copied to whom it may concern. They confirmed that they were the owners of the ship, which had been in port since 24/10/03, stated that they had run out of funds and gave notice that they were abandoning the vessel. The fax informed the harbour master that he should feel free to auction the vessel to settle claims.

ILO/IMO (February 2006)

ITF (28 March 2006)
Wages still outstanding, repatriation paid by ITF, court case ongoing.

International Shipping Federation (6 April 2006)
The ship ended up in the port of Esbjerg after being in distress on the 23rd October 2003 outside the port. Due to the bad condition of the ship it was detained by the Danish Maritime Authority port state control. The owners went bankrupt. The ship was sold to N.A. Rama from India in December 2005, but in 2006 this owner gave up the task of making the ship seaworthy. In April 2006, it was sold to a Danish demolition firm.
