The Administration has taken action in accordance with relevant provisions as stipulated by the ILO/IMO Maritime Labour Convention and the Antigua and Barbuda Merchant Shipping Act and MLC Regulations. With ordinance dating of 19.06.2019, DMLC Holders and Insurers, for and on behalf of Owners, were instructed, to compensate all crew for any outstanding wages due and repatriate them within seven working days, latest until the 1st of July 2019. (ref. the attached)

P&I assured recent supply of fuel and provisions, and as per latest report wages due for the month of april have been payed and confirmed received. The situation is being currently monitored by local authorities, P&I correspondents and our Flag State Inspectors. Owners and Mortgagees are working on a solution by sale of the vessel, which is expected in due course. Polonia (25 Junio 2019)
m/v Freya was detained by the PSC in Szczecin, Poland on the 20th of May 2019. The reason for the detention was lack of curtail ship certificates, there were also several technical shortcomings detected. The detention in any case was caused by violation of the MLC Convention.

According to the PSC inspection held this morning (25th of June 2019) on the vessel:

1. The crew did not complain about the living condition on the vessel
2. Food supplies are sufficient for next 7 days (the order for another 7 days was already made)
3. Water supplies are sufficient for next 25 days
4. The cleaning supplies are sufficient for everyday needs
5. Fuel supplies are sufficient for next 10 day (last bunkering on the 20th of June)
6. The crew confirmed receiving wages for the month of April (the wages are paid with one month delay)
