Decree No. 4 of 2011 granting monthly salaries to Emirati Fishermen in Dubai.

The monthly salary payment to UAE Fishermen in Dubai is calculated according to the schedule attached to this Decree.
Section 3: The conditions and requirements for the aforementioned salary is as follows:
(A)the Fisherman is citizen of Emirates and has Emirates nationality;
(B)he is a member of the Dubai Fishermen Cooperative Society for a period of not less than 15 years;
(C)he doesn't receive any pension from any local or federal government.
Section 4: This Decree is effective for fishing boats that are registered in the relevant authorities before August 1, 2008.

Provides for the creation of a committee in charge of this matter in any establishment employing fifteen workers or more. The Committee is composed by the employer and two workers selected by the employer in consultation with the competent Labour Branch. It determines the manner of disposing of the fine-funds. In such determination, the Committee shall take in consideration the social activities in the establishment.
