Determines the procedure for regulating the granting of the status of refugee, as well as examining the cases of persons in need of additional protection, or person in need of asylum. Also regulates the loss or withdrawal of such status. Establishes the legal status of refugees, persons in need of additional protection and persons granted asylum in Ukraine. Chapter III provides for rights and duties of the above mentioned categories of persons, namely providing, inter alia, for temporary work placement, educational and social rights as per Ukrainian legislation.
Repeals the previous Law on Refugees of 2001.
