Comprehensive legislation on constitution, registration, and control of cooperative societies. Divided into 11 parts. Part I contains preliminary provisions. Part II regulates constitution, functions, powers and composition of Cooperatives Board. Part III provides for formation and registration of cooperative societies; Part IV for organisation and duties of societies. Part V regulates rights and duties of members, and Part VI operation and management of societies. Part VII deals with property and funds of societies, Part VIII with amalgamation of societies, Part IX with dissolution and liquidation of societies, and Part X with constitution, functions and duties of apex organisation. Finally, Part XI contains miscellaneous provisions.

Made under the Co-operative Societies Act (Cap. 278). Repeals the Co-operative Societies (Central Co-operative Fund) Regulations, 1989.
