Forced Labour Act (No. 8 of 1934).

Sets forth prohibition of forced labour. In the event of war, famine, earthquake, violent epidemic, invasion by animal, insect or vegetable pests, flood or fire or any other circumstance endangering existance or well-being of population, the President may require labour from any person. Also provides for power of district authorities to require labour of inhabitants for certain public works.
