Provides regulations governing the payment of wages. The Government shall promulgate a wage scale (s. 4). S. 6 provides for compensation to workers who are prevented from working due to delays caused by power shortages or other accidents for more than 15 days. S. 10 provides for advance wages in cases of financial difficulty; s. 11 provides for payment of a portion of wages if an employee is in police custody. Also regulates wages during annual leave and absences due to illness. Finally, s. 16 provides that female employees referred to in s. 111 of the Labour Code shall be paid the same wages as male employees when performing the same job.
