Fosters economic development by encouraging investment in Nepalese industries through concessions and facilities for industries. Provides for rules in respect of, inter alia, classification of industries, permission, registration of industry, matters to be specified in license or registration certificate, formation of Industrial Promotion Board, functions, duties and powers of the Board, alterations in classification and areas, facilities and concessions to be provided to industries, formation of a Single-Window Committe, functions, duties and powers of the Committee, prohibition of nationalisation of industries, and information to be supplied while closing down an industry.
