An Act to amend laws relating to economic development zones with a view to rationalizing roles and functions of the Export Processing Zones Authority in relation to Export Processing Zones and Special Economic Zones and to provide for other related matters.
- Amends the Export Processing Zones Act (Cap. 373) by repealing and replacing sections 13-15.
- Amends the Special Economic Zones Act (Cap. 420) by repealing and replacing section 3 (definitions) and repealing Part II. The following Parts and Sections are renumbered accordingly. It also amends sections 13, 14, 15 and 20. Repeals sections 21,23,24,25,26,27 and 38 as renumbered and renumbers section 22-46 as sections 21-39 respectively.
