Provides that an apprentice shall be entitled to one year injury leave on full pay less any amount of Injury Benefit to which the apprentice may be entitled, if he or she is injured during the actual discharge of duties at the workplace. This shall not apply if the injury is due to negligence by the apprentice or contravention of safety rules laid down by the employer.

Revokes the National Assistance (Extension) Order 1969.
