Modifies rules which restricted the manufacture of most types of jewelry, gloves and mittens, buttons and buckles, embroidery and handkerchiefs by persons in the home. Henceforward, employers may employ workers in these industries to work at home, subject to obtaining a certificate from the Department authorising such employment. The Regulations also amend the recordkeeping requirements imposed on employers of homeworkers.
