Amends section 29 by extending the scope of application by replacing the words "or an unmarried female orphan" with the words "or a female orphan". Repeals and replaces section 34 concerning the case of a widow remarrying. Adds a new subsection (2) to section 43. Repeals and replaces section 51A with a new section on "Special provisions applicable to married public officers who become contributors on or after the relevant date and leave the public service without pension".
