Decision on work books and length of service.

Undated Decision issued by the Council of Ministers under Ordinance No. 72 of 1986. The work book, issued to the worker upon his or her first day of work, follows the worker throughout all successive employment, and is to contain all the information called for by the Labour Code of 1986. The work book is returned to the worker on the day the employment relationship terminates. The worker's length of service is, for all administrative, insurance and other purposes, calculated in accordance with the notations made in the work book. Temporary and final provisions state that this Decision repeals the Ordinance of 31 Mar. 1953 on work books and that it takes effect 1 Jan. 1987, the date on which new forms for work books shall be put into circulation. Models for an enterprise to use in completing work books appear in an appendix.
