Contains provisions relating, inter alia, to the control of corrective establishments, exception regimes (special conditions granted to pregnant women and to women with children under 3). Provides for guarantees granted to prisoners: religious liberty, no censorship for complaints and declarations to the judge, right to be informed on working conditions and rest conditions. The chapter concerning the penitentiary personnel has been modified (service conditions, responsibilities, legal and social protection). A new section of the Penal Code enables pregnant women or mothers of children under 3 to get a delay for the application of their punishment under specific conditions. Repealed by Penal Code No. 63-FZ of 13 June 1996.
