Contains provisions relating to investor and owner of vessel, captain, and maritime labour contracts. Section 97 deals with duty of seafarer to obey instructions of superior, and to save persons and cargo aboard the vessel in case of danger. Section 99-102 provide for payment of salaries to seafarers. Sections 104-105 make provision for health care for seafarers as well as for occupational injuries and diseases. Section 106 establishes obligation of investor to assume burial costs if seafarer dies while on duty. Section 107 regulates duty of investor to ensure seafarer's return to shore. Also deals with several related matters.
