    Article 2(4) provides that the regulations are to be interpreted in accordance with the Worst Forms of Child Labour Convention, 1999 (No. 182).

    Provides comprehensive regulations on hazardous chemical substances in the workplace, including dust in mining operations. In certain cases requires employers to provide air monitoring, medical surveillance, training, protective equipment, and to dispose of chemical wastes safely. Three annexed Tables set occupational exposure limits as well as biological exposure indices for hazardous chemical substances.
