    Concerns employees' participation - not only in their own workplace, but at the supra-enterprise level - as part of the board of directors. For enterprises with more than two thousand permanent employees, the employees must have an equal number of representatives on the board of directors, which usually has twelve, sixteen or twenty members, depending on the size of the group of enterprises. The employees have the same number of seats on the board of directors as the employers, but if there is a stalemate, the chairperson, who is elected by the employers, has the determining vote. The employees have the right to elect the deputy chairperson, who replaces the chairperson in his or her absence.

En el capítulo II (arts. 9-18) se trata de la declaración y protección de la huelga (negociaciones para tentar un acuerdo, declaración de la huelga, delegados, comunicación, formalidades, conciliación y mediación, prohibición de trasladar equipos, piquetes de huelga, prohibición de reemplazar trabajadores, prohibición de cierre de talleres. El capítulo III enumera las obligaciones de los trabajadores durante la huelga (arts. 19-20): protección y acceso a las instalaciones, satisfacción de las necessidades esenciales por parte de los servicios y empresas de utilidad pública. El capítulo IV indica los efectos de la huelga (arts. 21-24): suspensión de la relación jurídicolaboral, prohibición de traslado y despido, suspensión de plazos. El capítulo V (art. 25-29) enumera las infracciones y sanciones en caso de violación de la libertad de adherir a una huelga, de amenaza o coacción a participar en huelgas, de huelga ilícita, de cierre de talleres y violación de los derechos de los trabajadores. El capítulo VI contiene las disposiciones finales y transitorias.

It also makes it an offence to contribute financially to promote or maintain a strike deemed contrary to the Act. It sets penalties for such offences. Part Four makes provisions on the enforcement and duration of awards. Finally, Part Five makes general provisions for time limits on complaints, the liability of officers of companies and for the institution of additional regulations.
