Minimum Wages Act, 2001 (No. 1 of 2002) (CH.321B). -

Makes provision for minimum wages. Mimimum wages are set as follows: for employment by the week: 150 dollars per week; for employment by the day: 30 dollars per day; for employment by the hour: four dollars per hour. Also provides for enforcement of minimum wages, computation of wages, premiums, records and notices, penalty for false records and information, liability of agent and special defence to employers, and work inspection.
