    Establishes National Youth Development Council, and defines its functions and powers. Functions of Council include to advise Minister on progammes relating to youth development, and to assist and encourage organisations interested in youth development in initiation of youth training and development progammes.

    Provides for the application in Zambia of certain acts of the Parliament of the UK relating to merchant shipping. Divided into 8 parts. Part 1 (s. 1-3) contains preliminary provisions. Part 2 (s. 4-12) regulates registration. Part 3 (s. 13-18) deals with masters and seamen. Part 4 (s. 19-25) provides for safety of shipping. Part 5 (s. 26-29) regulates shipping inquiries and courts. Part 6 (s. 30) deals with liability of shipowners. Part 7 (s. 31) regulates legal proceedings. Part 8 (s. 32-37) contains miscellaneous provisions.
