    An Act to amend laws relating to economic development zones with a view to rationalizing roles and functions of the Export Processing Zones Authority in relation to Export Processing Zones and Special Economic Zones and to provide for other related matters.

    - Amends the Export Processing Zones Act (Cap. 373) by repealing and replacing sections 13-15.
    - Amends the Special Economic Zones Act (Cap. 420) by repealing and replacing section 3 (definitions) and repealing Part II. The following Parts and Sections are renumbered accordingly. It also amends sections 13, 14, 15 and 20. Repeals sections 21,23,24,25,26,27 and 38 as renumbered and renumbers section 22-46 as sections 21-39 respectively.

    Persons who were citizens of either the Republic of Tanganyika or the People's Republic of Zanzibar shall be deemed to have become citizens of the Republic of Tanzania effective from Union Day (26 April 1964). Disallows dual citizenship, and sets forth requirements for citizenship and procedures for naturalization.

    Amends Schedules in the Civil Procedure Code, 1966, relating to the service of summons, scheduling of cases, and the determination of the Speed Track for a case. Order VIIIC is amended regarding arbitration and mediation procedures.

    A birth is require to be registered within 90 days of the occurrence and a death within 30 days, and that event must have occurred within the borders of mainland Tanzania.
