    Government Decree No. 303 of 3 May 2014 "On Regional Coefficients, Coefficients for the Work in Desert, Arid Areas and on Highlands". - Legislation from CIS Countries

    In accordance with article 104 of the Labour Code and article 51 of the law ¿On Normative Legal Acts¿ and with the aim of strengthening social protection of workers taking into account unfavorable physical-geographical, climatic and medical factors, for the work in desert arid areas, on highlands, regulates the coefficients of remuneration, increases the wages starting from 1 May 2014. In an appendix introduces the list of villages, located 200 meters above the sea with the relevant wage coefficients.

    Repeals the Government Decree No. 302 of 3 July 2003 "On the Establishment of Regional Coefficients, Coefficients for the Work in Desert, Arid Areas and on Highlands".

    Decree No. 421 of 27 October 1994 to amend and supplement the Labour Code of Tajikistan.

    Makes provision for adding the word "contract" each time the word "trudovoj dogovor"(meaning labour contract) appears in the Act. Replaces "of the Soviet Union" by "of the Republic of Tajikistan". Amends section 34 providing for no suspension of labour contracts or changes in labour relations (except in case of redundancy) in the event of enterprise transfer or reorganization. Supplements section 19 which fixes the conclusion of a short term labour contract in cases when labour relations cannot be established on a long term basis because of the type of work or the conditions for its accomplishment, or in the worker's interest.
