Act Promoting and Safeguarding the Intangible Cultural Heritage, B.E. 2559 [2016]. -

Competent authority is the Ministry of Culture. The Act sets out to promote and safeguard the intangible cultural heritage of Thailand which includes folk literature and language; performing arts; social practices, rituals and festive traditions, knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe; traditional craftsmanship; playing traditional folk sports and martial arts; any other practice or form as prescribed in the regulations.

Prohibits and sets forth sanctions for money laundering, which includes processing money derived from prostitution, child prostitution, and trafficking of persons.

Provides that cases being tried by civil courts acting as military courts, including cases involving Communist offences, shall continue to be tried in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code.
