Ministerial Regulation No. 2 (B.E. 2556) Issued under the Factory Act, B.E. 2535. Adoption: 2013-02-05 | THA-2013-R-96443 The Regulations deal with the treatment and disposal of waste and unused materials. It repeals and replaces section 13(3) of the Minister Regulation No. 2 (B.E. 2535) issued under the Factory Act, B.E. 2535 with the following.
"(3) A factory business operator having waste or unused materials with the attributes or qualifications prescribed by the Minister by publishing in the Government Gazette must execute actions relating to waste or unused material disposal as follows:
(a) No waste or unused materials shall be removed from the factory unless otherwise authorized by Department of Industrial Works Director-General for potency destructions, recycle, management, burial by a specific method and place which must be in accordance with the rules and procedures prescribed by the Minister by publishing in the Government Gazette.
The Exception on a request for authorization under paragraph one for some category or types of waste or unused materials which are not dangerous shall be in accordance with the rules and procedures prescribed by the Minister by publishing in the Government Gazette.
(b) A notification on the details relating to the type, quantity, attribute, qualification and storage place of such waste or unused materials including the method of potency destructions, disposal of, recycle, management, burial, removal and transport shall be made which must be in accordance with the rules and procedures prescribed by the Minister by publishing in the Government Gazette."

Section 151(2) of the Labour Protection Act as amended by the Labour Protection Act (No. 2) B.E. 2551 is to be repealed and replaced with: "Any person failing to comply with the order of the Labour Welfare Committee as issued under Section 120 or the order of labour inspection officers as issued under Section 124 shall be subject to imprisonment of no longer than one year or fine of no greater than twenty thousand bhat or both."
Section 154 and 155 are repealed.

"Clause 2. In paying an annual fee, the factory business operator shall as well produce a receipt of the notification to proceed with the carrying out of the factory business operations or the factory business operating license, as the case may be, except a factory located in the industrial zone under Section 30 of the Factory Act, B.E. 2353 and the factory paying the fee through the place specified under paragraph two of Clause 3."
Also repeals and replaces Clause 3(2) with the following:
"In the case where a factory business operator desires to pay an annual fee through a commercial bank, post office, or payment service center that connects the computer signal system with computer network system of the Department of Industrial Works, Provincial Industrial Office or Local Administrative Organization, as the case may be, shall proceed ahead with the payment of such annual fee at such place in accordance with the rules and the formal prescribed by the Department of industrial Works Director-General".

(¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿.¿.¿¿¿¿) - Adoption: 1998-02-12 | Date of entry into force: 1998-08-20 | THA-1998-L-49727 Replaces the Revolutionary Council Announcement No. 103 of 1972 to provide for comprehensive labour legislation. Chapter 1 contains general provisions which include the obligation of an employer to treat male and female workers equally. This Chapter also prohibits sexual harassment (of women and children) and covers termination of employment. Chapter 2 concerns the general use of labour, providing for hours of work, holidays, overtime, rest periods, and "sterilization" leave. Chapter 3 regards female labour and prohibits female labour in underground mines, on scaffolds over 10 meters, or with explosives; this Chapter also prohibits certain activities for pregnant women, including night work. Pregnant women shall receive 90 days maternity leave and may not be dismissed due to their pregnancy. Chapter 4 concerns child labour; a child is defined as a person under 15 years of age. Children employees under the age of 18 shall be registered and shall not perform night work and other specified tasks (e.g. work with radiation, poisons, heavy machinery, or in mines). Chapter 5 provides for wage, overtime, and holiday pay. Chapter 6 establishes a Wages Committee to fix minimum wages. A Welfare Committee is established by Chapter 7. Chapter 8 concerns occupational safety and health, creates a Work Safety, Occupational Hygiene and Environmental Conditions Committee, and provides for labour inspection. Chapter 9 covers work discipline and requires employers with ten or more employees to promulgate work rules. This Chapter also sets forth requirements regarding documentation of workers. Chapter 10 provides for suspension from work; Chapter 11 for compensation payments; Chapter 12 for submissions of petitions; Chapter 13 for the Employees Assistance Fund; Chapter 14 for the duties of the Labour Inspection Officer; Chapter 15 for sending of documents; and Chapter 16 for penalties. Regulations promulgated under Annoucement No. 103 shall continue in force unless they are in contradiction to this Act.
