    Section 3 requires a specific evaluation of risks of manipulation of animals by women, with relation to the risks to fertility. Annex 1 specifies details on the use of work devices in the culture of plants. Annex 2 gives details on the use of work devices in care of animals and on the activities that are related to it. Annex 3 gives details of measures to be taken when manipulating animals.

    The President of the Slovak Republic, upon a recommendation of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, ratified the ILO Convention 129 on 24th of August 2009. The Ratification decree was deposited with the General Director of the ILO on 17th of September 2009. The Slovak Republic accompanied the ratification decree by this declaration: "The Slovak Republic declares, that its system of labour inspection in agriculture covers all categories of persons working in agricultural enterprises mentioned in Section 5(1)(a-c) of the Convention of the International Labour Organization on Labour inspection in Agriculture No. 129 of 1969."
    The Convention entered into force for the Slovak Republic in accordance with Section 29(3) on 17th September 2010.

  3. Slovakia - Agriculture workers - Law, Act

    Act No. 40/1994 on a national fund for the agriculture and food industry.

    Establishes a fund to support development programs for agriculture and food industries and development of the agricultural market. Goals of the fund are as follows: restructuration, privatization, development of higher productivity, quality and export improvement, and support of regional development programs.

  4. Slovakia - Agriculture workers - Law, Act

    Act No. 11/1994 on privatization of land and agricultural property.

    Consists of 4 parts. Aims at easing injustice done to owners between 1948 and 1989. Fixes rights and duties of owners, original owners and tenants. Part I concerns basic regulations and scope of coverage of law. States that persons from foreign countries cannot become land owners and makes provision for compensation to expropriated persons. Part II deals with legitimate persons, valid evidence and return procedures. Part III provides for the rights of land funds and Part IV contains special transition conditions.

  5. Slovakia - Agriculture workers - Law, Act

    Act No. 12/1994 on privatization, rectifying property rights, land offices, land funds and property societies.

    Consists of 5 parts. Part I concerns basic regulations and extent of property corrections. Provides for examination of property rights, implementation of technical, biological, ecological and economic measures connected with determining the appropriate legal relationships (section 1). Concerns beginning and implementation of property corrections (sections 2 and 3), execution of property correction projects (section 4), simplified executions (section 5), property evidence (section 6), costs of property corrections (section 7) and organization of involved persons (section 8). Part II, III and IV deal respectively with property offices, the Slovak property fund and special regulations to ease injustice. Part V relates to the competence of national authorities.

  6. Slovakia - Agriculture workers - Law, Act

    Act No. 13/1994 on the national fund regulating the agricultural market.

    The national fund assists food producers to adapt to changing market conditions and regulates market balance. Guarantees buying at fixed prices, processing, transport and sale of selected food, and contributes to food exports. Also participates in the definition of agricultural policies.
