Amends the Act No. 561/2008 on child-care benefit: Amends Sections 1, 3, 4. Adds new section 4a on conditions of entitlement of child-care benefit. Amends Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Theses amendments replace references to the old repealed Act No. 280/2002 by references to this Act.
It also amends in a very minor way Section 3 of the consolidates Act No. 235/1998 on child-birth benefit and the Section 226 of the consolidated Act No. 461/2003 on Social insurance.

Act No. 365/2004 of 20 May 2004 on equal treatment in certain areas and protection against discrimination, amending and supplementing certain other laws (Anti-Discrimination Act). -

Comprehensive legislation against discrimination.

Defines direct and indirect discrimination (section 2). Prohibits discrimination in education, social protection, healthcare, employment, etc. In particular, section 5 provides for equal treatment with regard to social security and sections 6 and 7 deal with equal treatment in employment.

Also amends Act No. 308/1993 to provide for changes in the status of the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights which ensures the legal protection to victims of discrimination.

Amends numerous other acts.
