    The President of the Slovak Republic, upon the recommendation of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, ratified the ILO Convention 81 on 24th of August 2009. The Ratification decree was deposited with the General Director of the ILO on 17th of September 2009. The Convention, according to its Section 33(3) entered into force for the Slovak Republic, on 17th of September 2010.
