Treaty between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republics and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics respecting cooperation in environmental protection.

The text of the Treaty is in an appendix to the Notification of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The document lists 16 fields of cooperation (Article 2), which covers, inter alia, protection of air, water, soil, forets, ecological education, waste disposal, and legal issues related to environmental protection. These objectives are to be implemented by the various means provided for in Articles 3 to 11. Activities will be coordinated by the Czechoslovak State Commission for Scientific Development and Investment together with the State Board of the USSR for Environmental Protection.

Conclu pour une période de 15 ans, le présent accord est reconduit tacitement, sauf dénonciation. L'accord est suivi d'un protocole d'application, de même date. La loi du 8 mars 1991 en porte ratification et publication par la partie belge.
