Enumère les différentes mesures liées à la protection de l'environnement et de la nature lors de l'exploitation et de la construction de nouveaux établissements, dans l'agriculture, lors de l'utilisation de matériaux radioactifs, de produits chimiques, la protection contre le bruit, les vibrations, la production de déchets, la protection de la couche d'ozone. Etablit un sytème de contrôle écologique et de formation des travailleurs et spécialistes en écologie. Prévoit un système de solution des conflits et les responsabilités en cas d'infractions

Définit la notion de handicap, les droits et prérogatives des handicapés que l'Etat garantit, et le champ d'application de la législation soviétique vis-à-vis de cette catégorie de la population. Détermine les responsabilités des organes, entreprises et organisations de l'Etat, les normes en matière de logement, ainsi que les responsabilités de l'Etat en matière de réadaptation médicale, professionnelle et sociale, d'éducation et de formation professionnelle. Fixe les conditions d'embauche et de travail des handicapés, les avantages accordés aux entreprises employant des handicapés et les conditions de l'assistance sociale accordée à ces derniers.

Résolution No. 1827-1 du 11 décembre 1990 du Soviet suprême de l'URSS relative à l'entrée en vigueur de la Loi de l'URSS relative aux principes fondamentaux de la protection sociale des personnes handicapées en URSS.

Makes amendments consequential upon the enactment of the Act on work collectives and on increasing their role in the management of undertakings, institutions and organisations (of 17 June 1983: LS 1983 - USSR 1), inter alia, to the Fundamental Principles governing the labour legislation of the USSR and the Union Republics (approved by Act No. 2-VIII of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 15 July 1970) and to the Regulations respecting the rights of the factory, works or local trade union committee (approved by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 22 Sep. 1971). Amendments concern, inter alia, participation of work collectives in concluding collective agreements, ensuring work discipline, drawing up plans to improve occupational safety and health, and in the management of undertakings, institutions and organisations.
