Docks Regulation (Chapter 217) [consolidated to 1960]

Gives the Governor in Council authority to make rules for the safety of persons employed in the processes of loading, unloading, moving and handling of goods or produce in, on, or at any dock, wharf or coaling any ship in any dock, harbour or canal.

Pursuant to the Docks Regulation, Chapter 217: Part 1 requires life saving appliances and first aid equipment. Part 2 regulates hatch covering; Part 3 lifting equipment and tackle; Parts 4 and 5, various safety provisions to be observed aboard vessels.
