Solomon Islands Tertiary Education and Skills Authority Act 2017 (No. 7 of 2017). -

Provides for the establishment and running of the Solomon Islands Tertiary Education and Skills Authority.

Article 54 provides that "The Education Act (Cap. 69) does not apply to tertiary education and skills development and for the purposes of that Act:
(a) a place is not a school by reason only of the fact that tertiary education and skills development is provided at the place; and
(b) a person is not a teacher by reason only of the fact that the person is a teacher of tertiary education and skills development."
