Penal Code (Amendment) Act 2007 (No. 51 of 2007). - Adoption: 2007-11-06 | SGP-2007-L-78411 Makes numerous amendments to the Penal Code (Cap. 224 of the 1985 Revised Edition). Amendments include, inter alia, changing the definition of life imprisonment to mean "imprisonment for the duration of a persons natural life"; enhancing penalties for racially or religiously aggravated offences (article 74); insertion of a new Chapter VIB concerning genocide; and replacing sections 375 to 376D with new sections concerning sexual offences, including prostitution and sex with a minor. Schedule A includes a tabular statement of offences under the Penal Code.
