    Provides for legal situation, procedure of creation, activity, reorganisation and liquidation of non-profit organizations. Does not apply to consumer cooperatives. Non-profit organizations can be created, inter alia, in the form of social or religious organizations (associations) or social funds.

    Act No. 175-FZ of 23 November 1995 on the procedure of settlement of collective labour disputes (Text No. 4557).

    Concerns disputes between workers and employers relating to the modification of labour conditions in the enterprise, the modification or the application of collective agreements or of any other agreement relating to labour relations (section 2). Provides for the use of conciliation procedures (sections 5-6), mediation (section 7) or arbitration (section 8), and specifies the procedures. Fixes the role of the "Service", a government body which intervenes in the settlement of the dispute (section 11). In cases when the dispute cannot be settled, the workers can use their right to strike. Specifies the obligations of the parties during the strike (section 16) and defines the notion of illicite strike (section 17). Available in English. Repeals Act of 20 May 1991.

    Ordinance No. 1133 to fix the attributions of the Service of the Ministry of Labour in charge of the settlement of collective labour disputes.

    This service is in charge of the verification of the powers of parties to the collective agreement and the admissibility of their claims, of mediation and must participate to the arbitration.

    Act No. 2490-I of 11 March 1992 on Collective and Workplace Agreements (Text No. 890).

    According to the act, a collective agreement is a legal act concluded between an employer and a trade union represented by its executive body, another executive body appointed by workers or a general assembly of the workers, whereas a workplace agreement has a limited scope (professional, sectorial or territorial). These agreements must be in accordance with the legislation in force. On the other hand, no individual labour contract can provide for less favourable conditions for the worker than the ones fixed by the legislation or the agreement. This act establishes equality of parties for collective bargaining (including for the revision of concluded texts). Provides for sanctions against employers who refuse to negociate, violate concluded provisions or do not give the necessary information. Put into force by Ordinance No. 2491-I of Supreme Soviet of 11 March 1992.
