    The Act introduces a minimum hourly rate for people working under freelance contract or service contracts (including self-employed). The minimum hourly wage level will be correlated with the amount of annual minimum wage paid.

    The Act reduces limitation in accessing certain professions (9 in financial field and 82 in technical branch). Amendments have various scope, most far-reaching in bookkeeping services through tax advisor, auditor, actuary, insurance or reinsurance broker. Other professions affected: car appraiser, urban planner, architect or engineer holding a building license.
    The goal of the above changes is to broaden access to professions previously hardly regulated as well as facilitate Universities to create more practical study specializations.

    The Resolution was issued in accordance with the provisions of s. 79 of the Labour Code (LS 1974 - Pol. 1A, 1B) and contains certain principles governing the increase of the lowest levels of remuneration in 1988. It provides that Resolution No. 4 of the Council of Ministers of 12 Jan. 1987 on the same subject shall be repealed on 1 Jan. 1988.
