    Provides for the formation, registration and regulation of cooperative societies. The Provincial Government may appoint a person to be Registrar of Co-operative Societies for the Province who shall be responsible for the registration of cooperative societies. Conditions and requirements for obtaining a certificate of registration are set out in the Act. The Act provides for rights and liabilities of members of societies and for duties and privileges of societies. It further provides for: property and funds of societies; powers of the Registrar to inquire into the constitution, working and financial condition of a society; offences and penalties; appeals; etc.
