The Constitution (Eighteenth Amendment) Act, 2010 (Act X of 2010). - Adoption: 2010-04-20 | PAK-2010-L-88342 Repeals the Legal Framework Order, 2002 (Chief Executive's Order No. 24 of 2002), the Legal Framework (Amendment) Order, 2002 (Chief Executive's Order No. 29 of 2002) and the Legal Framework (Second Amendment) Order, 2002 (Chief Executive's Order No. 32 of 2002) as well as the Constitution (Seventeenth Amendment) Act, 2003.
In particular, the 18th amendment abolishes the Concurrent List, which allowed the federal and provincial governments to simultaneously promulgate the legislation in relation to Trade Union Industrial and Labour Disputes, welfare of labour, condition of the Labour etc. With the abolition of the concurrent list, only for the Provincial Government are constitutionally entitled to draft legislation in relation to Trade Unions and Industrial and Labour Disputes (See sections 75, 96 and 101).
In addition, the Act amends article 106 concerning the establishment and functioning of Provincial Assemblies. There are four in total, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (which before the amendment was known as the North West Frontier Province), Punjab and Sindh.

The Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. - Adoption: 1973-04-12 | PAK-1973-C-33863 Comprised of 12 Parts and 280 sections. Provides for fundamental rights including freedom from slavery and forced labour, freedom of speech, assembly, religion and association. Discrimination on the basis of race, religion, caste, sex, residence or place of birth is prohibited with regard to access to public places and to positions in the public service. As a matter of public policy, steps shall be taken to "enable the Muslims of Pakistan, individually and collectively, to order their lives in accordance with the fundamental principles and basic concepts of Islam...". The State shall endeavour to make the teaching of the Holy Quran and Islamiat compulsory, and to promote the observance of Islamic moral standards. It shall also ensure full participation of women in all spheres of national life, and promote the social and economic well-being of the people by raising the standard of living, and by preventing the concentration of wealth and means of production and distribution in the hands of a few to the detriment of general interest. Other Parts concern the Presidency, Parliament, distribution of legislative powers between the Federation and the Provinces, the judicature and elections.
