    Contains the full text of the above-mentioned law. The first chapter deals with the Social Economic Council. Heading I concerns its objective, which is to promote the business sector and to defend its interests. The Council can provide advice upon a written request or on its own accord on the implementation of this law and on other matters of social or economic relevance. For this purpose it may establish commissions. The second chapter deals with industrial bodies, which are public bodies formed between enterprises. The task of these bodies is the promotion of the activities of enterprises. They may make regulations on: registration of enterprises and personnel; matters related to goods and services; the promotion of professional management; salaries and working conditions; research on social, economic, and technical matters; labour market matters, and funding.

    Decree of 24 June 1993, concerning regulations on procedures for negotiations with the concerned Union of Authorities Personnel for general management measures, to be established under article 14 of the Fire Brigade Law 1985.

    The Minister of the Interior shall only approve of general management measures under article 14 of of the Fire Brigade Law 1985, by agreement between the President and the majority of the Unions. Each Union is allowed one vote. In case of division of the votes, the Minister of the Interior shall cast the deciding vote if necessary.

    The Directorate General for the Provision of Employment under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment becomes independent and is transformed into the Organisation for Provision of Employment-a public body under tripartite administration.

    This Act exempts employers from the payment of contributions for a maximum of four years and grants subsidies towards the cost of training and supervision where jobseekers are recruited after at least three years' continuous unemployment.

    Decision of 19 August 1977 of the Social and Economic Council to lay down directives for the assessment of the representativity of associations of employers and of employees, to be used by the Council and its commissions in the framework of the fullfilment of their advisory and decision-making tasks appointed to them by or in virtue of the law, with respect to the composition of corporate boards.
