    The entire Civil Code has been adapted to the new constitutional situation, with the exception of those parts for which the government plans to implement innovations in the coming years. This is the tenth title of Book 7A. Under that national ordinance, Book 3 Old Dutch Civil Code has been renumbered as Book 7A.

    These subjects are governed by the old provisions of the Civil Code, laid down in Book 7A (loan agreement, commercial partnership agreement as far as it concerns the occupational partnership agreement, and gambling and game agreement) and of the Commercial Code (commercial partnership agreement, negotiable bills and other commercial documents and cheques). It is the intention to place the revised provisions for hire-purchase agreements in Title 7.1 (Sale and Exchange).

    The legislation with regard to collective labour agreements, until this Title is accepted by Parliament, is governed by two separate Acts of Parliament: the Collective Agreements Act and the Act on the Binding and Non-Binding Status of Provisions of Collective Labour Agreements.

    Amends at the same time the Civil Code, the Act on the right of co-determination in educational matters and other education Acts, the Act on equal treatment of men and women in the public service (Stb. 1980, 364), the Act on equal pay for men and women (St. 1985, 129; LS 1975-Neth. 1) and the Act on temporary provisions for equal treatment of men and women and of married and unmarried persons upon termination of employment (St. 1979, 278).
