    Government Resolution adopting Charter of National Council (No. 138 of 2001).

    Adoption: 2001-06-27 | Date of entry into force: 2001-06-27 | MNG-2001-R-63073

    Gives effect to Charter of National Council, pursuant to Article 20 of Law on Employment Promotion. National Council shall consist of nine members, representing Government, employers and workers. Mission of National Council is to hold consultations, work towards national consensus, and to give recommendations on employment policy issues.

    Establishes, in accordance with Article 138 of the Labour Law, the National Tripartite Committee on Labour and Social Consent, and adopts the Charter of the Committee. The Charter provides that the objective of the Committee is to influence national labour policy and its implementation, to develop the system of national consent on economic and social issues, to settle collective disputes on labour rights and associated economic, social and legal rights and interests. The Cabinet Member responsible for labour issues heads the Committee.
