    Regulates entitlement to maternity leave and benefit. Employee on maternity leave shall be entitled to full wage during first thirteen weeks of such leave, with fourteenth week being unpaid. Also provides for prohibition of exposure to certain agents or working conditions, ante-natal examinations, taking of leave during fixed-term contracts, rights during maternity leave, and prohibition of dismissal.

    Made in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety (Promotion) Act, 1994. Establishes the general rights and obligations of pregnant workers and mothers. Also sets forth the responsibilities of employers concerning risks, including lists of agents which may be dangerous to pregnant workers.
