Also provides for Center on Refugee Issues, Council of Appeal on Refugee Issues, confidentiality of information about asylum seekers, identification of asylum seekers, language of communication, and rights and obligations of asylum seekers. Chapter 2 deals with submission of application for refugee status. Chapter 3 regulates reviewing of application. Chapter 4 provides for legal status of refugees in Republic of Latvia; Chapter 5 for loss of such status. Chapter 6 contains final and transitional provisions.
