The new law, inter alia, provides for more rights for SLI to act and suspend the operation of an enterprise that is in breach of occupational safety and health rules and standards and general labour legislation. Provides for more rights for SLI to supervise the compliance of private construction sites with labour law. The function of technical monitoring of hazardous industrial installations is passed to the State Building Inspectorate.
