Law of 26 October 2017 "On the 2014 Protocol, which Complements the International Labor Organization's 1930 Convention on Forced Labor". - Adoption: 2017-10-26 | Date of entry into force: 2017-11-09 | LVA-2017-L-107061 Implements and approves the 2014 Protocol, which complements the International Labor Organization's 1930 Convention on Forced Labor. Establishes, that the fulfilment of the obligations provided for in the Protocol must be coordinated by the Ministry of Welfare of Latvia.
Introduces the text of the Protocol in English and in Latvian languages as follows: "Protocol of 2014 to the Forced Labour Convention, 1930 (Entry into force: 09 Nov 2016). Adoption: Geneva, 103rd ILC session (11 Jun 2014).

Regulates the relationships arising from volunteering introducing the procedure of concluding a contract on volunteering, the rights and duties of organizer of volunteering, insurance procedure for volunteers. Also establishes volunteer information system.
