Act No. VIII-1190 of 20 May 1999 on the management of radioactive waste (Text No. 167) (as amended). -

Regulates relationships between legal persons and individuals with respect to treatment of radioactive waste and establishes the legal basis for the treatment of such waste. Fixes competencies of State bodies in that field, and defines the tasks, status and activity of the Agency for the treatment of radioactive waste.

Establishes, inter alia, the basis for the management of nuclear energy and the principles of State regulation of nuclear safety and radiation protection.

Regulations No. 1055 of 11 September 1996 to approve the list of jobs forbidden for persons under the age of 18, those with dangerous aspects and working conditions, and procedure of placement of persons from 13 to 14, 14 to 16, and 16 to 18.(Text No. 543)

Establishes a list of jobs and conditions considered as dangerous or too arduous for young workers. Defines employers' obligations for conditions of work of young workers (occupational safety and hygiene, rest periods, hours of work) and employment conditions (minimum age, vocational training, labour contract, parents' agreement, medical examination).

Directive 2004/35/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21.04.04 on environmental liability with regard to the prevention and remedying of environmental damage (OJ 2009 special edition, Chapter 15, volume 8, p. 357) with the latest amendments done by Directive 2009/31/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 (OJ 2009 L 140, p. 114);
3. Directive 2010/75/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 on industrial emissions (integrated pollution prevention and control) (OJ 2010 L 334, p. 17).
