The Employment of Juveniles at Sea (Medical Examination) Rules, 1977 [L.N. No. 158]

Pursuant to the Employment Act (No.2 of 1976), requires juveniles to produce medical certificate signed by a registered medical practitioner prior to employment upon a ship. Certificate to be valid for 1 year. Penalties for non compliance.

Pursuant to The Employment of Women, Young Persons and Children Act, Chapter 227, requires that children and young persons produce a medical certificate prior to employment upon a ship or vessel.
