    Act establishes the National Hospital Insurance Fund. Specifies amounts of contributions by employers and regulates benefits. Further provisions pertain to formation of the Advisory Council, and relevant financial, administrative and legal regulations. Repeals The National Hospital Insurance Act (Cap. 255).

    Pursuant to the Employment Act (No. 2 of 1976), requires employer to bear medical expenses of employees injured on the job. Requires employers to make certain medicines available at workplace, and to provide a staff nurse if employees number over 100. Employer must bear transportation expenses to and from hospital if employee injured in workplace. Revokes prior rules of 1957.
