Notice to an Employee (Terms of Employment) Law (Amendment No. 6), 2014. - Adoption: 2014-12-16 | Date of entry into force: 2015-01-30 | ISR-2014-L-100287 The amendment states that the employer will inform the ongoing screening process to the candidate who applied for a position, the period for informing shall be no later than two months from the first day when the screening process began, and every consecutive two months, assuming that the process is continuing. Furthermore, the employer will be required to notify the candidate within 14 days from the day on which another candidate was hired for the same position.

Sick Pay (Absence Because of Child's Illness) Law (Amendment No. 10), 2013. - Adoption: 2013-12-09 | Date of entry into force: 2014-01-01 | ISR-2013-L-97287 Clause 1(b) of Sick Pay (Absence Because of Child's Illness) Law 5753-1993 is amended as follows:
Section A of Clause B, amended as follows:
" A disabled child's parent who has worked for at least one year in the same place of employment is entitled to receive up to 18 days annually for absences in order to provide personal assistance to a disability-diagnosed child and requiring parental absence from the workplace. These days can be offset against the parent's own sick leave days or annual vacation, as the parent chooses".
Additional paragraphs a(1) and a(2) added after Section A Clause B, which provides:
*An employee may use their sick leave days in order to assist their children, beginning from their first day of absence. Such payment also includes partial absences, and, under such circumstances, the absence is calculated on an hourly basis.
*The parent is entitled to 52 more hours per year (if employed full-time, and on a pro rata basis if less), which are added to their sick leave days as provided by law.

Adoption: 2002 | ISR-2002-L-76067 The employer has the obligation to give notice in writing that will give details of the terms of the workers employment (including a description of their role, wages, hours of work, day off, social benefit payments) no later than 30 days after the worker has commenced employment.
