The Minimum Wage Law of 2015 amending the Minimum Wage Law, 5747-1987. - Adoption: 2015-01-25 | Date of entry into force: 2015-04-01 | ISR-2015-L-103002 The Law raises the minimum monthly salary in three installments to NIS 5,000. The minimum monthly salary will rise on April 1 of 2015 to NIS 4,650 and then to NIS 4,825 in July 2016, and finally to NIS 5,000 in January 2017.

The Minimum Wage Law of 2011 amending The Minimum Wage Law of 1987. - Adoption: 2011-06-15 | Date of entry into force: 2011-07-01 | ISR-2011-L-91093 The monthly minimum wage is amended in two phases as follows:
1) As from July 1st 2011, the monthly minimum wage shall be increased to 4100 (ILS).
2) As from October 1st 2012, the monthly minimum wage shall be increased to 4300 (ILS).

Minimum Wage Law, 5747-1987. - Adoption: 1987 | Date of entry into force: 1987-04-01 | ISR-1987-L-4768 Provides that any employee of 18 years of age or over employed in a full-time position is entitled to receive a wage which is not less than a minimum per month, day or hour, as the case may be. An employee in a part-time position is entitled to a partial (proportional) minimum wage. Sets forth the components of the wage (basic or combined wage, cost-of-living allowance and fixed additional payments other than family allowance, shift-work allowance, etc.). The minimum wage shall be increased in accordance with the rate of a cost-of-living allowance, a price increase compensation or a collectively agreed wage addition. Provides for annual updating of the minimum wage. The Law also contains provisions on making claims, payment of compensatory wages, calculation of the average wage, protection of rights under the Law, penalties, fixing a minimum wage for youth, and the adoption of regulations.
