Male and Female Workers Equal Pay (Amendment No. 2) Law, 2012. - Adoption: 2012-08-02 | Date of entry into force: 2012-08-02 | ISR-2012-L-94385 An additional paragraph (a) is added to Section No. 7 of Male and Female Workers Equal Pay Law of 1996, provided as follows: " 5 years limitation period applying to claims under this Law".
This Law repeals Paragraph (a) of Section No. 8 of Male and Female Workers Equal Pay Law of 1996.

Male and Female Workers (Equal Pay) Law, 5724-1964 (consolidated text). Adoption: 1964 | ISR-1964-L-3197 Provides that an employer shall pay to a female worker a wage equal to the wage paid to a male worker at that place of employment for the same or substantially the same work. Where a disagreement arises as to the wage to which a female worker is entitled, the worker, the employer or the workers' committee in that place may request the decision of a regional court. Applies to the State as an employer. Repealed.
