    The law protects the welfare and interests of foster children,also protects the rights of biological parents and foster parents. It calls for the establishment of a Foster Children’s Commission that will serve as an address for children’s complaints and concerns about their placement and care.

    Paragraph (15 a) added to the second appendix after Section No. 15 of the Enhanced Enforcement of the Labour Law 2011, provides that: "employers shall give young workers a break to use the toilet".

    Made under Youth Employment Law 1953. Makes provision for scope of medical examination by General Practitioner, and scope of medical examination for work requiring suitability test. Also regulates medical record, employer's duty to refer to medical examinations, notice of restriction in job requiring suitability test and some related matters. Revokes Youth Employment Regulations (Medical Examinations) 5714/1954 and Youth Employment Regulations (Hazardous Work for the matter of Medical examination) 5756/1996.

    Made under Employment of Youth Law, 1953. Sets forth preconditions for issuance of a permit to mediate employment of a child in a performance. Such permit shall not be issued for employment of a child of less than 1 year of age, or if the applicant has committed certain types of crime. Provides for qualification, revocation and application for such permit, and regulates modalities of acts of mediation.

Provides for qualification, revocation and stipulation of permit, as well as for submission of application for permit. Also regulates terms of employment of child in a performance. Finally, revokes Child Labour Regulation (Employment in a Public Performance), 1965.

    Made under the Employment of Youth Law 1953. Regulates duties of employer applying for a permit to employ a youth. Establishes that an employer who applies for such permit shall notify the youth for whose employment the permit is requested, prior to the submission of the application, of his right to express his position as to the granting of the permit, and shall provide him with the appropriate form for statement of position.

Prohibition does not apply to employment of a youth pursuant to the Apprenticeship Law 5713/1953 or at the Vocational Training Centre for Youth under Section 1(b)(3) of the Law. Establishes that chief Work Supervisor may permit employment of a youth for a job, in places, and with restrictions laid down in the permit, if it is essential for the professional training of the youth. Revokes Youth Employment Regulations (Prohibited Jobs and Restricted Jobs), 5714/1954.

    Provides for the application and form of employment booklets for youth which are to contain details of the young worker including registration number, name of parents, address, education and membership in an HMO. The Employer is to retain the booklet during the period of employment and is to return it on the last day of their employment.

    Provides that young workers between the ages of 15 and 18 years who are not covered under the Apprenticeship Act (5713-1953) and who is employed an occupation not listed in the Youth Employment Order (Imposition of Compulsory Studies for Vocational Training), 5733-1973, is obliged to participate in studies as specified in the Original Order [Kovetz Takanot 3974, 5739, 1043].
